can someone please explain the subs thing again regarding this game. you set your team up and then that's it for the week? no swapping players by the day?

You choose your team before all of the games and then that team is set. Captain gets you double points. You cannot change your team middle of the set of games. If a player in your team doesnt play a player on your bench automatically comes on, however you must always have three defenders at least playing.

I understood the swapping deadline was an hour before the first game of the week (ie 7pm on Fri before Man U v Leicester) and that’s your team for the week.

Rice being listed as a defender is a good thing, means you're essentially getting another midfielder in your team who gets full clean sheet points as a defender.
Same thing I did with Eric Dier a few years ago, won't make a huge amount of difference unless Rice starts getting forward and gets a few goals/assists

Crystal - makes a difference if we start shipping goals for fun as you will get minus points as opposed to a midfielder just losing his clean sheet
